C2. Single Ad Analysis

Description:
This lesson will help students analyze a single campaign ad. Students will practice placing events in context and looking at events from multiple perspectives.

To Teachers:

• Create groups of 3 to 4 students.
• Give each group a worksheet.

Materials:

Worksheet Instructions:

• Go to EASE History -- http://www.easehistory.org/
• Search on your assigned Campaign Ads theme in EASE History. [EASE History Campaign Ads>]
• Examine at least 12 cases that have been coded on the theme.
• Select a case.
• Complete the Historical Thinking Guide.
