H13. Conceptual Understanding/ Historical Topics/Cold War

Description:
This lesson will help students develop a deeper understanding of the Cold War. Students are provided 6 cases and asked to explain how each case can help us to better understand the Cold War.

To Teachers:

• Create groups of 3 to 4 students.
• Give each group a worksheet.

Worksheet Word document | PDF

Worksheet Instructions:

• Go to EASE History -- http://www.easehistory.org/
• Search on Cold War in EASE History. [EASE History Historical Events>Historical Topics>Cold War]
• Locate and then examine the 6 cases that are included in the chart.
• Briefly explain, in three to four sentences, how each event helps us to better understand the Cold War?
  
  After completing the task, groups will share their findings with the whole class.
