H1. Comparing Historical Cases

Description:
This lesson will help students compare historical cases. Students will practice placing events in context and looking at events from multiple perspectives.

To Teachers:

• Select a theme from EASE History. Cold War is used in the example.
• Create groups of 3-4 students.
• Give each group a worksheet.

Worksheet Instructions:

• Go to EASE History -- http://www.easehistory.org/
• Search on Cold War in EASE History. [EASE History Historical Events>Topics>Cold War]
• Select two cases from the Cold War.
• Complete the Historical Thinking Guide
